Topics for the agenda include: 1. Slideshow: Washington has the goods. 2. Discussion: How to get involved with the WCC (We're an all volunteer organization and this means YOU can help.) 3. Update: Static Point planning and access concerns. (The land managers are proposing to close the road providing access to this unique crag and we're looking into how to best promote or preserve access here. Read more.) 4. Update: Recreation planning at Newhalem and Diablo. (Ongoing issues and recent developments have significant implications for cragging in the area.) 5. Call to Action/Request for Input: USFS roads. (Hundres of roads will be closed; other user groups are promoting their interests and we should too. Read more.) 6. Discussion/Request for Input: Environmental politics and Roadless Area Act. (Pending legislation could affect much of WA state: how will these activities affect climbers? Read more.) 7.
