2005 Rockfest.
  Feathered Friends:

For three five years in a row, Washington Climbers Coalition supporters attended the Feathered Friends' Rockfest event near Leavenworth, handing out newsletters and and giving a slide presentation on the Washington Climbers Coalition. Each year, proceeds from a raffle held at the event have been donated to the Washington Climbers Coalition; this has proven one of our most reliable source of funding.

On Rockfest:  Rockfest is a free grassroots annual event inviting climbers from all over Washington to take clinics, demo gear, drink some beer and hangout with fellow climbers. Each year there was a raffle with proceeds being delivered to the Washington Climbers Coalition and in 2009 the Feathered Friends event was the first fundraising for the 2009-2010 Index Town Wall fund raising effort.

The Redmond Vertical world was one of the first local businesses to raises money for the Washington Climbers Coalition, with a membership special in 2005. The climb continued that support with a findraising event in Fall 2009 held in support of the 2009-2010 Index Town Wall fund raising effort.
