Feathered Friends:
For three years in a row, Washington Climbers Coalition members have attended the Feathered Friends' Rockfest event near Leavenworth, handing out newsletters and and giving a slide presentation on the Washington Climbers Coalition. Each year, proceeds from a raffle held at the event have been donated to the Washington Climbers Coalition; this has proven one of our most reliable source of funding.
On Rockfest: Rockfest is a free grassroots annual event inviting climbers from all over Washington to take clinics, demo gear, drink some beer and hangout with fellow climbers. This year, Katie Brown attended the event and gave a free outdoor slideshow at the Bridge Creek group campground. Look for it again next year in June.

Redmond Vertical World:
In September, 2005, the Redmond Vertical world had a membership special whereby climbers could write a $10.00 check to the Washington Climbers Coalition and they would receive a week's pass to the gym. Thanks folks! We received the donations and we look forward to working with Washington climbers and businesses like the Vertical World in the future. Your support is greatly appreciated!
