Middle Fork Snoqualmie River

There are now hundreds of climbs in the North Bend/Snoqualmie Valley area, most of them one-pitch sport climbs on metamorphosed volcanic rock. The rock ranges from slabby to steeply overhanging and provides sharp, often incut holds. There are very few pure crack climbs. Climbs range in difficulty from mid-fifth class to 5.14. As the closest climbing area to metropolitan Seattle, many cliffs are very popular.
