Wa State Parks will be provided some hand tools, trash bags and will haul away all garbage collected. Bring gloves, work clothes and hand tools if you have them.

Any advice on places we can roll in really late on Friday to camp? We are probably going to come up after work on Friday. I'll look into the forest service campgrounds nearby, but if you've got specific advice let me know (and if you don't want to share with the whole world, you can PM me)...

I am sorry to say that I do not have any good advice. The Index-Galena road is washed out before the official campgrounds. Driving up the Miller River road (Take the Money Creek Campground turnoff just west of Skykomish) has worked for me before. I am not sure if you can camp in the official campground this time of year. It is right off the highway. If you can't, there are places off the Miller River road. If you go that route start looking for places around 3 miles off US#2.

To get to the Miller River Road contuinue past the campground and look for a right turn not to far after crossing the RR tracks.

Unfortunately its close to slumming anywhere you go.
