Chris Greyell has the kiosk project coming up June 11 -- and he suggested we might invite folks to ocme up and celebrate our success with the Clear Creek road. Camping up there is real nice and, weather-permitting, we could have some good fun on the crags after helping Chris dig a couple of post-holes.
The kiosk is going to be one of those heavy-duty wooden signboards with a picnic-shelter overhang on top. It'll house signs about low trace climbing, wilderness regulations, and an informational poster about the goat counting project being undertaken by the Sauk-Suiattle tribe.
We might have an opportunity to shake hands with some people from the Forest Service and the tribal biologist.
